random musings and things that tickle my fancy

Well, here we are with 5 months to go (GASP!). Holy crap, writing that kind of stresses me out. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you all about a wonderful Etsy vendor. (As an aside, I LOVE Etsy! You can find such beautiful, wonderful, unique stuff on there!) The vendor I worked with to create my custom fascinator was Kacey of Twisted Crystals. I’ve been admiring her work for months. I love that she uses re-purposed fabric and findings in her designs. This was the first time I’ve ordered a custom item from Etsy, and I must say that it was a wonderful, painless process. I sent Kacey a photo of my dress and my veil, along with an idea of what I wanted. I’m sure you’ll agree that what she came up with was perfect…I can’t wait to see it in person!
