random musings and things that tickle my fancy

So glad that you asked! I wanted to come up with a term to describe the ‘theme’ of our wedding, and Barnyard Chic describes it perfectly. I wanted a look that went with our venue, The Newcastle Wedding Gardens and Red Horse Barn. NWG was once a fruit orchard. The current owners have done a fantastic job fixing it up to be a beautiful, charming wedding venue. They’ve even converted the old horse barn into a reception area. Here’s a peek at my inspiration board for Barnyard Chic:

Photo Credits: bouquet The Knot, lace gown Oleg Cassini for David’s Bridal, boutonniere The Knot, cake Martha Stewart (I edited the colors a bit), engagement ring Ben Bridge (mine is sadly not platinum), men’s wedding band ArtCarved, bridesmaid’s dress David’s Bridal, mason jar candle holders Martha Stewart, ring holder Paloma’s Nest, centerpiece The Knot. All other credits not listed – I can’t remember…I made this thing a long time ago. I really wish I could remember where I found the guestbook idea.
