Here’s a fun little project I did to decorate my lovely shoes – I put my future initials in rhinestones on the soles! Now I know that not many people are going to see this, but that’s OK by me. I know they’re there!
Here’s how I did it:
- I found my initials in fonts that I liked and printed them out to scale. I used two different fonts for the E & P, and I sadly don’t remember what either of them were, LOL.
- Taped the printouts in place on the soles.
- Used a push pin and poked through the paper, tracing the letter.
- Painstakingly glued the rhinestones on one-by-one using some heavy duty craft glue that I got at Michaels. I used toothpicks to apply the glue and an old pair of tweezers to put the stones in place.
Here’s the result:

And a couple of my shoes, cuz I love them oh-so-much!
