random musings and things that tickle my fancy

The Ceremony Programs are done! These were a TON of work! The cover is made of Kraft cardstock. I used rotary stamps for our names and the date (here’s a link to an alphabet one similar to the one I found – I got mine for FIVE DOLLARS(!) but the place I got it is sold out now). The spines were sewn using our two main wedding colors in a zig zag on my sewing machine. Here’s  little sneak peek (click photo to enlarge), I’ll post more photos of what’s inside after the wedding.

these are darling! what kind of cardstock specifically did you use? I would love to get some to use in my wedding stuff. Where did you order it from? Great job!

Thank you, Susan! These were A LOT of work! The paper is Wausau Royal Fiber 80 lb. cover (color is Kraft). I purchased 250 sheets from The Paper Mill Store, and it was around $24. Here’s a link: http://www.thepapermillstore.com/product.php?productid=4502

Hi! I love the way you sewed the programs together. I am going to attempt to do this for mine this weekend. Do you have any instructions or suggestions that might help?

Thanks!
Julie

Julie, the sewing part was pretty easy, overall. It was all of the designing, cutting, stamping and scoring that took the most time! Definitely practice a few times beforehand, and make sure that your interior pages are slightly smaller (or a lot smaller, depending on the look you want) than the cover pages. Line the interior sheets up against the edge and sew away! Good luck and hope that helps!
