I want one so bad, but they are so incredibly expensive to rent. I’ve found a lot of inspiration from brides that have taken the DIY approach, and I’m seriously considering creating our own, complete with funky fabric backgrounds, something to write clever messages on, and fake mustaches! Check out these fun photo booth pics:

I am determined to find a way to make this work!
We did our engagement session on Sunday with my friend Andrew Nixon from my days at the State Hornet. Sandra came along and helped us with the dogs. Thank you again, Sandra! We shot these in and around Southside Park…because we used to live over there and have many fond memories! Plus I wanted some grungy backgrounds. We had a lot of fun and I think the pics turned out great! I’m happy!
Obligatory ring shot!

Having the pups was kind of a PITA, but I’m glad we got some shots with them. They are soooo much a part of our lives and family!

This was by the Fox & Goose on 10th Street

We were laughing pretty much the whole time. Andrew kept telling Tory to look at me ‘tenderly,’ which was funny by itself

Tory’s parents lent us this awesome quilt for the shots in the park!

My FAVORITE!

We’re doing our engagement shoot on May 31st with a friend of mine from Sac State, Andrew Nixon. He and I worked at the school paper, The State Hornet together. He is super talented and I’m so excited to see what kind of magic he makes! Here’s a collection of my inspiration pics for the shoot (click for credits):
