I have so many photos from the reception that I thought it would be best to split them into parts. So here is part one!
Here is a peek into Red Horse Barn of Newcastle Wedding Gardens taken from outside one of the giant barn doors that were wide open during our reception.
One of our lovely centerpieces from Martha.
After we ate, we made our way around all of the tables, taking time to talk to each of our guests (for which I got scolded by my new hubby because apparently I took too long!).
The best man, Sean.
This is one of my favorite photos from the day. It’s of my brother, Eli who came all the way from Kansas with our sister, Stephany to be at the wedding.
I LOVE our toasting flutes! They’re from Anthro.
Our awesome cake from local chocolatier Ginger Elizabeth, a gift from my employers.
Ginger’s description of the cake:
“Devil’s food cake layered with chocolate mousse, hazelnut crunch and vanilla bavarian cream with American style chocolate buttercream icing.” It was so delicious, I wish you could taste it!
The cake was almost too beautiful to eat! But we managed.
I love the way Tory is demonstrating the method I should use. It’s like he’s feeding his little baby bird…so cute!
That’s it for now…part 2 and the final (finally!) post of my wedding posts coming up next week!
